About Megan
Since age seven, Megan has worked
seriously on her craft taking on extensive training in both drama and dance. In
her early days she worked with Ipswich Little Theatre for 6 years and was
accepted into 'The Australian Youth Ballet Company' touring nationally and
internationally. At 15 she was accepted into the 'Queensland Dance School of
Excellence' as well as completing her advanced ballet exams A.R.A.D.
She has appeared in multiple T.V
commercials, movies and television shows including Skindeep, Sons and
Daughters, Richmond Hill, Flipper, Fire (series2), Time Trax and Mission Impossible. Her movie credits include Howling 3, Les Patterson
Saves the World, Young Einstein and The Tanker Incident.
Her theatre credits include three
national tours with Barry Humphries, the lead role as Janet in The Rocky
Horror Picture Show, the first ever stage production of Matilda with the
Redgrave theatre in London and Over The Top With Jim QPAT/Brisbane festival
and QLD tour.
Currently, Megan is a leading voice
over artist in Brisbane and winner of four Goldie awards for best female
voice-over artist in Queensland. You will hear her voice on many radio and TV
commercials as well as corporate videos, websites and telephone on hold
messages and even Microsoft software programs.
Megan has also been teaching for over 20 years as a private A.M.E.B./Trinity College Speech & Drama/Communication teacher at schools such as St. Josephs Gregory Terrace, Stuartholme, St. John's and Canterbury college sitting students for A.M.E.B. Speech & Drama, Drama & Performance and Voice & Communication exams as well as eisteddfod preparation.
